Verde’s products are derived from an ancient 570 million years old rock named “glauconitic siltstone”, rich in a mineral called glauconite. The production process is 100% natural.

Along 10 years researching glauconitic siltstone’s proprieties, Verde has reached large landmarks:

  • Geological survey over 123,592 hectares

  • 48,000 meters of drilling

  • More than 60,000 samples analyzed

  • 716 rotopercussive drilling holes

  • 70 diamond drill holes

  • Financed 2 masters and 2 doctorates

Super Greensand® is commercialized in Brazil as K Forte. Product is an alternative to Potassium Chloride (KCl), which is a widely used fertilizer by Brazilian farmers. Compared to KCI, which is not the most suitable product for tropical agriculture, K Forte has great advantages:

  1. It does not add salt or chloride to the soil;

  2. Is approved for organic production;

  3. Its silicon content increases plant resistance against pests and diseases;

  4. Its production site is close to the largest agricultural region of the country, the Brazilian savannah (Cerrado).

K Forte is an alternative that may allow Brazil to decrease its dependence on potassium imports and is a more sustainable and appropriate fertilizer for tropical soils.
