About Us

Verde is an agri-tech company, focused on delivering smart solutions to the challenges of 21st century agriculture. We aspire to provide ever greater productivity, profitability and sustainability, by developing innovative products that exceed rising standards of organic and conventional farming.

Verde AgriTech plc is a UK incorporated company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: NPK) and on the OTC Markets (OTCQB:AMHPF).

Verde was founded in 2005, when a team of experienced explorers and professionals from the mining industry assembled a grassroots mineral exploration portfolio with properties in Brazil. In 2006, then known as Amazon Mining, the Company was incorporated in England and Wales. After evaluating a number of mineral projects, Verde focused its efforts on the production of natural mineral fertilizers.

Potassium is an essential element for crop growth. Brazil is the largest importer of potassium fertilizers in the world, importing about 95% of all the potassium consumed by its agriculture.

Agriculture is one of the strongest sectors of Brazil’s economy, accounting for about 1/4 of the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Brazil is rightfully regarded as the world's breadbasket because it is one of the largest agricultural producers and a huge exporter of food commodities to markets around the globe.

Our project

The Cerrado Verde Project is located in the Alto Paranaiba region of Minas Gerais state, Brazil, in the heartland of Brazil's largest agricultural market. Verde owns a potassium-rich deposit from which the Company is producing solutions for crop nutrition, crop protection, soil improvement, and increased sustainability.

  • Phase 3 - 25Mtpy

Project Highlights:

  • Proven and Probable Reserves of 777.28 million tonnes, grading 9.78% K2O
  • Estimated after-tax Net Present Value (NPV) for the Project, using an 8% discount rate, of US$1,987.97 million
  • Estimated after-tax Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 290%
  • Adopted Potassium Chloride (KCl) long term price of US$250 CFR Brazil as reference for Super Greensand® pricing
